Program Participation by Sahaja Yoga Meditation

The event was held at Bishan Community Club hall on 25th May(Sunday) from 10 to 4pm, with various booths and exhibitions showcasing different activities and information for managing stress.

Sahaja Yoga Meditation Singapore offered 4 meditation sessions during the day, which attracted both students and other members of the public. Firstly, we gave them an introduction to what is meditation as there are many misconceptions about meditation among young people. That was followed by a hands-on segment where the participants could experience a state of relaxation and peace in just a short time.

When asked how they felt, many of the students were surprised to find themselves feeling more relaxed, and their mind could actually quieten down after the session. With the amount of stress that students have to face these days, meditation is an effective way to help them become more balanced individuals to cope with life’s demands. We hope that more students in Singapore can benefit from learning how to meditate!
