Stress Management Program for Singapore Police – 2015


Sahaja Yoga Meditation conducted free meditation sessions on ‘Stress Management through Meditation’ for Singapore Police’s 2 different departments. The program was successful with a good number of participants and many showed interest in attending regular weekly meditation classes.

Program focused on mental and emotional fitness by overcoming stress as Police personnel are expected to be physically fit. Presentation clarified true meaning of meditation and demonstrated how few minutes of meditation can help find mental peace in challenging and fast pace police job. The presentation was supported with a video on meditation research, conducted by doctor’s community and instrumental meditational audio clips.

Participants were provided guided meditation steps and handouts to try out in home. Most of participants acknowledged that Sahaja Yoga Meditation is very easy to help experience mental silence even in an office environment.
